i have a 1999 corvette with 12 cd changer. its not working. I was told that the laser was not working, any ideas?

What are the symptoms of it not working? Who told you the laser was bad? Not to state the obvious but the CDs have to be inserted with the label down. Make sure you have them in there correctly.

But first, take out all the cd's and just put in a few making sure they are loaded properly. If they play, may be an issued with CD sleeve, inserted incorrectly, or the CD's themselves. Hope this helps.
