Headlight motors/gas cap release/hood release related?
I recently had my motor rebuilt. Everything is back together and in running order, however, my motors on my headlights are not working, the gas release is not working, and the trunk release button is not working. Are these all linked to the same fuse? Is it possible numerous fuses could have blown ?

I would think that some stuff is not plugged in. There is not a common circuit that I am aware of for these three items.
It is very common for the fuel door release connector to be forgotten when putting the center console back together. Since you had motor work that may have had the whole drive line pulled out of the car this is probably the most likely issue.
The trunk-hatch/fog light switch also can be unplugged. If the knee bolster was removed this would be likely along with the temp sensor if your car is equipped with the dual zone climate control.
As to the headlights do the lights turn on and not popup? If they do turn on and not popup look at the headlight control module under the passenger headlight and make sure the connectors are plugged in. If nothing comes on then look at the connectors just behind the headlight motors. these may be unplugged.

If a shop did the removal and replacement of the engine, you might want to mention those items to them and have them fix them.

So it was a fuse for the truck pop and fuel door release. How do I look in to the headlights more? The bulbs go on but I have to manually open them up. Both motors are not running. I don't think that both motors went out at the same time. What exactly am I looking for and where to decipher the problem. Thanks fellas
