Oof, no dogs in any cars for me (Along with no food or drinks). Other family members are relegated to those duties, the car gets dirty enough without a hairy animal being inside. I can't imagine driving spiritedly with an animal in the car either.

My dog is more important than my car. Easy to remove hair.

Well that's ignoring how it's irresponsible to transport around an animal in a car without putting them in a carrier. I hope for your sake and everyone else around you that you don't have an accident while they're in your car - or that they don't cause one.

Don't need a carrier.Just buy a harness that hooks to the seat belt. Dog is restrained and can't be thrown into the dash if you have to get hard on the brakes.

Don't have a dog but I do have a pet turtle (34 years old)...rode in the Vette once to the vet and was traumatized (noise and ride). I also don't smoke or eat in the car.

My dog doesn't shed hair and I don't drive 'spirited' when my dog is riding shotgun, so calm down Francis. My dog is well behaved and just enjoys the ride, nothing 'dangerous' about it. I put a towel over the seat and console and tuck it in so he doesn't slide on the seat. My dog is my family and is treated as such - enough said.

Yep. My dog goes in all my cars. I dont worry about drool or claws. She's far more important than a car.

Yep. My 120 lb black lab has ridden with me. He loved it. Just sat on the seat looking out like a person.

Wouldn't spirited driving be more irresponsible and dangerous than a dog in the car??

now I see why you don't ever drive.. you're just paranoid in general.

Maybe you should stick to sitting inside listening to that sound track of car noises. Let other people enjoy life while you watch what it's like from the safety of home.

One of my favorite shepherds to work with at my shelter is a 135lb white. Who seems to think she's much smaller. From what I've seen is the all black/white shepherds usually carry about 15lbs over their usual counterparts. You boys growth plates look huge, he's gonna be big.

Oh yeah, he tries to go everywhere our little cat can go and doesn't seem to understand that he's already 10 times her size.

Hes actually a shepherd husky mix who just so happened to come out 100% white. Mom was about a 75 pound Black and Tan shepherd and dad was all white husky who was pretty massive, as big as most malamutes. My dog's paws were bigger than both his moms and dads right out of the gate.

That means he's probably a spaz too, all of our husky mixes are like trying to walk basket *****.

hes literally the calmest dog I've ever owned. If you hype him up he becomes a lunatic but unlike his 7 siblings he loves to just sit in between my legs on the porch and watch people/dogs walk by.

Hes also practically mute, maybe once a week he'll bark at the cat if she's messing with him and he can't get to her. Part of me wishes he would be more vocal but then I visit my family and all their dogs end up making me grateful that he's quiet

very very strange dog to be honest.

I really should have expected as much. I thought as with any car like this it would be less likely for people to put their dogs in them since it's not exactly the ol' family car. It's partly from a place of keeping a car clean and partly from a safety of the animal and the driver/others on the road. But I'm a jerk for pointing this out. Suit yourself...

I didn't say you were a jerk I said you were too paranoid to be able to enjoy actually owning a cool car. Which is true from what you've shared with us.

You wont drive your car for fear of it being imperfect.

Charlie loves to hang out in the garage with me, but he much prefers to ride in my GMC Envoy so he can see out.
