Default Your Dog and Your C5

Hey guys, today I was going to go for a drive and decided I'd take the dog along. She's an 80-90 pound Lab/German Shepard. Normally she hops right into a car but she was kind of freaked out by the Corvette. Normally she rides in my Intrepid or my Fiancés Mazda 3.

I took her back inside and she went straight into her kennel.. I'm not sure why she hates the car. But I guess I don't have to worry about drool or scratch marks on the leather.

Do you guys/gals let your dog in your Corvette at all? It'd be cool to go for a ride with the top down with the dog. But she won't have it what so ever.

Great looking travel companions!
Our shepherd used to love riding in the back of our Vette (always in the coupe cargo area; never wanted to sit on the seat. Guess he had more room in the back). Unfortunately, he's gone and we're not quite ready to replace him.

Yeah both my blue heelers ride with me, just not at the same time. They love it.

Yep, when I rescued my pup from my shelter I was driving the vette and couldn't let her stay there another day. She did get a little car sick and prefers riding in the truck, but she did enjoy the ride none the less.

Default Maybe?

I don't think she could see over the dash without a phone book. I would also have to tie 2x4s to her stubby legs to reach the peddles.
