Can someone point me in the right direction for socket adapters that way I can just solder these up.
Hope you have better luck that I did. The set I ordered didn't fit at all

Was it from the eBay seller?

Nope, Amazon 2 of GENSSI 3157 3057 3156 Socket Wires Connector Base Adapter (Pack of 2)

Could have easily been my error. The male plugs looked right but would not seat in the female OEM sockets no matter how hard I tried
So I just used wire taps and taped over the female sockets. Works just fine.

Do you happen to have a picture of your wiring, for reference. Thanks!

I bought these on amazon. Worked great. Wired white on the light to black on the plug. Red to red. And black on the light to blue on the plug.

So I completed the wiring on the project. I’m honestly not happy with the tail light fitment compared to stock. I’ll see about taking the stock lights apart and swap the LED guts into the OEM housings.

Why are you not happy? Mine are a little snug but fit fine.

The sound it makes when aligning with the bumper is a bit of worry. They look good, but I need to re solder one light since it doesn’t power up.

Ordered the set of 6 RV lights from ebay and the wiring harnesses from Amazon. Will be installing RadioFlyer ACA headlights this weekend but then it's the tail lights. I'll also need a hyper flash harness, right? Are they all the same? Prices range from about $40 on ebay to $65 + S/H at RadioFlyer.

I just used the eBay hyper flash unit. So far it has been working.

I ordered these lights right after reading the original post. i also ordered the hyper flash relay as well. They've been on my 99 now about 6 months. What a great upgrade! Simple wiring, did not need any harness. I simply cut off the factory sockets and wired them up. Best mod I've done so far.

Had mine in since seeing this post a while back. No issues and they are very bright.

Same here. Lights off of ebay, adapters from Amazon. Soldered and used marine shrink tubing. Hyperflash adapter was previously installed. They are tight in the socket which caused some concern. Look and work great.

Stephen Meredith: Thanks for instructions on wiring the Amazon wiring harness to the LED lights. Just a thing to remember: LEDs are polarized but the plug on the wiring harness can be inserted into the stock bulb socket either way. Check each one before connecting everything. If the LEDs don't light up, rotate the plug 180°

And of course thanks to Andy!

Now here's my problem: The RV fixture does not seat all the way into the fascia. It looks to me like the LENS is the same size as original but the black backing is about 7/16" thick and squared off, so the backing is preventing the unit from going all the way in. I think that's what Raiden is talking about.

I don't want to mess with the stock lights--want to keep this all "Plug & Play" and easily reversible. I may try putting a bevel all around the perimeter of the LED units (sounds tedious) or maybe using spacers.

Ordered the hyper flash harness off ebay for $41 and just waiting for it to arrive.

btw--installed the RadioFlyer ACA headlights. MUCH brighter! Now I have to aim them...

Odd,
Mine fit just fine even with tail light shield gaskets.

OK. After some cutting and sanding of the RV light it finally occurred to me: The thickness of the original tail light at the mounting hole is about 1/2". The RV light is about 7/8" thick at the mounting hole, so the lens will always be 3/8" out compared to stock.
Fine. CorvetteMods (for example) will sell you a "Flush Mount Tail Light Kit" for $25 + S/H. So it's not a problem--it's a mod
Got the hyper flash unit so as soon as I attach plugs to 4 RV lights I'll just install them, flush mounted, and quit worrying.
