Well, Bought my first Corvette !
Bought my very first Corvette a couple of days ago after trading my Harley. Couldn't be more ecstatic with the purchase. It's a 2003 Corvette with 80k on the odometer and it's a 6spd. She is Spiral gray and completely stock. Can't wait to start doing mods to it and tinkering with it. My father has an 86 C4 Corvette so that's what made me want a corvette of my own. I'm only 23 so im prolly younger than most on here but I have always been a chevy man and been drag racing for a while. Always grown up around cars and hot rods, performance cars etc. This is my first Ls1 of my own but have Heard great things and have witnessed amazing potential in some of my friends cars over the years.

I'm sure you'll love it! Just be careful pulling so far forward once you lower it or that bumper might take a hit!
looks like a great color in great shape!

Your first mod should be is to get rid of the lead acid battery, if it leaks, your car is in for some major repair costs.
P.S. It's funny, the 99 I just purchased had the same battery in it as yours does now. I now have a red top in her.

Congrats on your new to you ride. Those pics bring back thoughts of the C5 I used to have, an 04 spiral gray coupe. Love that color.

Wow! Great looking purchase! Looks like the previous owner went through some good effort keeping that baby up. He must have known it was headed your way! Already mentioned above but I'll re-state anyway, Curbs and speed bumps, driveway entrances and such are your enemies with these cars. Be careful with those, they'll get you if not careful. Another mention in the interest of preserving your new ride is try not to park directly behind another car, they can't see the front of a C5 in their rear view. Stopping in traffic, same thing, leave plenty of distance between you and the car/truck ahead. Our C5's are virtually invisible when behind trucks, SUV's etc. Good luck, great looking C5 and welcome. Best wishes!
