OMG yes. I've had my C5 for a month now and have done it twice. Thought I was gonna throw up both times. I guess that's the downside of your other ride being a Silverado. Used to pulling right up to the curb to get the ***-end out of the aisle. Don't gotta do that in the vette.

Good lookin' ride!!

I am in the Williamsburg area! not far at all. I am going to go to the Cruise In tomorrow evening at Shorty's Diner. It'd be awesome to meet up with a fellow veto guy

P.S. It's funny, the 99 I just purchased had the same battery in it as yours does now. I now have a red top in her.

read that article today actually and this weekend I planned on picking up a Red Top for sure!

Exactly, I've had my fun like that before when i had my 1980 camaro race car i built, had a 275 shot on it. It was an aluminum headed 355sbc (old school Y-block power haha)

. Fun car but also had to pay the hefty fee's that come with that sort of fun lol. But this car i just want to keep clean and simple, with some performance mods so i can drive her to the track for a test an tune night with the wife to have some fun. Nothing crazy. I do enjoy the occasional thumbs up cruising around town

You may want to buy these "fangs" from a Corvette Forum vendor to protect your car:

Just buy an AGM battery. Doesn't have to be a red or yellow top. I personally don't drink that cool-aid. I bought a Durolast Platinum. It is a 78 series which is one size larger than stock. It fits fine and has the 120 RC that is recommend for our cars.

I see you have a HUD. The image is projected to about the same distance as the front of the car. You can use that as reference when parking. I drive a Silverado as well as the Vette and that is how I keep from bumping the front of the Vette.

Nice find!
