New Crazy-Bright LED strip corner lights from Radioflyer Innovations
We recently stopped production of our LED strip-modified corner lights due to quality control and lack of brightness with the LED strips we were using. I'm proud to announce that I have found a suitable replacement:
The new LED strips use hybrid COB/SMD technology to produce an amazingly bright strip that's extremely low-profile.
Here is a test photo of the strip sitting on my truck's door handle...in daylight
pretty bright for a little tiny strip
Better still, this strip features a propitiatory phosphor coating to provide a solid white appearance when the strip is off and effectively disperse light when on.
These new strips feature a stand-alone variable output LED driver to solve the problems seen with resistor-only designs. The variable output allows use of either switchback function or allows white strips to have a high-output daytime function and a low output night function. Switchback and Solid-white strips are now the same price.
These are slightly more expensive than what we've been using but MUCH higher quality and made in USA with a 3 year warranty for the LED strips. We are also going to be using the same LED technology in all of our angel eyes products for SLC and Luminator headlights to ensure high quality and matching colors.
I will be building a test-set of these lights with the new strips using the black/clear and solid-white LED strips. Once these are finished, I will post photos here and make these available on our website.

Ok now stop posting on here and get some built. I noticed some of mine that I already have are out,I was looking about a month ago and saw they were no longer available. Glad to see your making them again and better. I'll be ordering as soon as you get them done.

George,
I was wondering since I haven't gotten around to shipping my corners to you since this came out. I originally ordered amber strips, is that going to be still available? Do I need to ante up more for the new strips?
Thanks, Tom M.

first strip installed. Photos were taken about 1pm in direct Texas sun (worst case lighting scenario) they plenty bright.
Direct sunlight
When a cloud passed over
a little closer
Up close - direct sun.
Strip turned off
Be cause the strip is so thin, it fits almost flush with the face of the housing. Looks really nice from the front.

George those appear, to my eye, to have OE or near OE brightness and uniformity of light. Even when off, they look OE.
I've been a big fan of LEDS for a very long time. Nice job.
