Looks pretty good IMO. I don't know the folks here that well, but if they're anything like the kinds I've seen at the few car shows I could stomach before I stopped going they have stock looking cars that have tons of chrome added everywhere and even more Corvette logos and things all over them. Sometimes even a mural on the inside of their hood I'm indecisive on keeping my Z06, but I love the track look and would/will go for it if I keep it - really don't care if others think it looks stupid. C5R is a cool looking machine (and in my case I already have a yellow Z06, just need to do the other bits ).
Corvettes are already an impractical car, so if you got such a big problem with one looking like a track machine I'm sure there are plenty of other more tame cars that have no place on a track you can drive instead...people street much more absurd things anyway.

I love the wing and your whole car because I love individuality and making the car your own. Come to this forum and you get blasted for black wheels, black out kits, using any number of techniques to wash your car (and God forbid that you use regular water!!!) and nearly any mods, etc etc blah blah blah. Keep on keeping on!!!

Hey Erik. I told you before, while I'm not usually a fan of large wings, yours has an integration to the overall theme that I like. The pictures post better here and it looks to me like the attachment point bolts could rip away. Does the hatch pull up at speed? I guess it won't stay open without a prop now?

I'm no expert....... but its for downforce, why would it pull up?

It is designed to go on the hatch. Believe it or not, the targa top coupes' hatch is super rigid, and can take an incredible amount of weight. When I used to half mile, and one mile race, I had a buddy in Texas with a C5 coupe (how I got into doing the Texas Mile) and we cut all the support structure from his hatch from underneath to save weight, and we pulled the rear window to install a one piece lexan piece, and I'll be damned if the thing was still so stiff that we didn't need any support bars for the window, and you could still slam it down from a corner, and the thing would not flex
However, for good measure I machined a couple net-fit 0.160" T6 aluminum cleats that mount up between the hatch underneath, and the nuts. You could tow the car from these things now.

Wings have ways offended here. Believe it or not, here in C5 General you are being spared because you do have some credibility and good will built up.
Post the identical OP in Off Topic and see the results you'd get. Beyond brutal. Anyone (except you) could bring the popcorn and sit back just from the pages spun just on the single OP, by the time it reached 6 pages you'd wonder what planet you just landed on.
