Default New Custom Seat Conversions for C5 and C6 Coming Soon!

We will be releasing soon our custom seat backs for C5 and C6 Corvettes. These will be ideal for people who don’t want to install a racing seat in their car but need better support for track days, other driving events or just spirited driving.

These will be direct replacement seat backs and will bolt to the oem bottom using the stock hardware. We eliminated the cable that allows the back to flop forward instantly but the seat back angle will still adjust from the factory lever.

We will begin work on the cover and these will be patterned to match C5 or C6 patterns. We will provide a matching cover for the stock bottom with each seat back and can add a sub belt opening if needed. We will post pictures later of how to install those. We will offer upholstery in simulated leather, real leather and suede as well. You will be able to choose your stitching color, as well as other options in the works.

The pictures below of the prototype are rather aggressive. We will also make these with a wider flare to the side bolsters for drivers who might find these too snug. If you had an air bag in your stock seat back, you will loose that, if that matters to you.

To help show what we mean by upholstery with stock patterns, you can see seats we did with a different back years ago below. We can do horizontal or vertical stitching and various panels widths as needed.

Any who are interested and would like to be kept up to date can email me directly, as I have started a folder of people to keep informed.

Subscribed. Where are you located and what is pricing looking like? Also, when will these be available?

Is the seat back height the same as the OEM seat height?

Connecticut.

I am expecting the complete back and new bottom cover in simulated leather to be around $749 per seat. Real leather or suede will be higher or course. I should have the frame components to start making the first 20 seats within 7-10 days. Since the covers will vary per order, seats should ship with 3-4 weeks from order and we should start taking orders as soon as we have a cover pattern completed with pictures.

Not positive on that. I'll get a measurement from the bottom foam.

I was curious about that as well, but from the looks of things the answer is no. I think it would be great if they could be optioned out that way. Regardless I am liking this better than any of the other seat options out there.

When you're ready shoot me a quote for black leather, red stitching and C5 Z06 embroidery please.

yeah it appears that way but I had to ask, my main complaint about the stock seats is the lack of support in the bottoms... I just bought some evo x recaros and ordered some c6 seat belts and am going to try to make those work but I'm still curious how these turn out... I really like the one posted above with the c6 bottom and cloth in the middle

I do too. Kinda makes me rethink...I may prefer leather with suede or alcantara centers. Little more *** grip that way too.

We haven't looked at that yet, but if we did in the future the back would still fit it.

Please email me this request. I often miss things when I have to read every post on every thread to see who needed what.

We could certainly do the same upholstery again on our new seat conversion. If you want to be kept updated on that, send me an email if you haven't already.
