Default Exhaust Leak - Advice needed

Guys, just installed my used GHL exhaust using new exhaust flange gaskets with my stock H-pipe. We started the car and raised it to check for leaks and noticed that both sides have exhaust leaks where the GHL exhaust bolts to the stock H-pipe. Both bolts on each side are tight so I not sure how I correct this. It's just leaking on the bottom side (blowing to the ground), the top and sides are sealed up.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Randy

Can you stack gaskets back to back and seal up the connection?

Guys, do I need a specific mid-pipe to match up to my GHL exhaust without it leaking at the connection?

Agree on the doubling of gaskets.

Thanks guys..I will try this approach.
All of the parts stores had to special order this gasket around here. Thought it would be a common gasket.

Instead of using the gaskets, I used High Temp Copper RTV.

https://www.permatex.com/products/ga...-gasket-maker/

It's probably cheaper than the gaskets as well.

That permatex looks like good stuff, I had the exhaust leak slight on the drivers side, same set up, Corsa X pipe and Borla Atak, I just tightened it up a little more than 45lbs, took it to about 55 and it stopped leaking.

If they are made of gasket material, use two of them and soak them in warm water for a while to soften them. Then put them on.

Randy, my guess is that the GHL flanges are just slightly warped. No big deal, double up on the gasket and use a little RTV and I bet it will be fine. Then take it out and do a little Post a video of the new sound too!

Howdy Rich, hopefully get it back in the air this weekend to double up on the gaskets.
Sounds great !
