Did your C5 play role in finding your significant other?

My wife doesn't know the difference between a SuperCharger, and a Snickers bar. She only knows that both, can make me very happy...
There were no Corvettes where she grew up. She had absolutely no idea what a Corvette was, when we met.
Now, she spots them in the other lanes, in traffic, (almost) as early as I do.

No, and not with any other Corvette I have owned. It never becomes a topic of conversation unless they asked me first. Those who's demeanor changed over knowing that information solely, I became real cautious about. Gold diggers usually have the personality of a gardening tool, and narcissism in spades. Doesn't take long to figure out their agenda.

Not my C5, but did with ex and my mustang. She made her pass at the strip in her mustang just before I made mine, then Blah Blah Blah, been single 6 years and most women don't even know I drive a vette, almost always take my truck out.

I have been driving Corvettes almost exclusively since 1972 - owned 10 over that period. I had more than my share of gorgeous women back in the day, but never had a girlfriend that cared about the Corvettes.
Honestly, except for an occasional teenage girl and a couple women stumbling drunk out of a bar, I never had a woman make a comment about my Corvettes until after I got to know them under other circumstances.

No, but she bought it for me while we were still dating.

I should have added that the '74 C3 photo was taken right after pulling it out of the paint booth. My mom took that photo of us pulling into her drive way, hence the 2nd photo about 36 years later. As you can see I copied the '78 pace car scheme on my '74 with black over root beer with a painted red pin striping. My wife, (then girlfriend) helped me tape and prep cars for painting. She knows her cars well. We dated in a '69 Camaro, '73 Nova SS, and the Corvette Great thread and thanks for the comments.
