First Vette or C5 on Forgestar M14 ???
So I had F14s and loved the spoke design, but really wanted to go back to a lip. Always loved the CCW Classics and was leaning that way, but I also like to be different (notice flag decal on roof lol). Then Forgestar introduced the M14 and I decided to go that route. I ordered them back around March and received and put them on about a month or so ago. Again I like to be different so instead of the gloss lip and matte face, I flipped it and did a matte lip with gloss face. Stayed with the same 18/18 size as the F14s and just swapped my tires over. Just thought I'd share some pics...

Looks great and LOVE the flag! Who's quarters are those and how is the fit? Also, what size wheels and tires are you running?

I like what you did, despite the fact that I just couldn’t do black wheels. I also like the lip best. The stance is very aggressive, actually intimidating!! Of course, if I’m not mistaken, its Pewter...the best color!

Great looking FRC. Love the rims, hood and rear fenders. The flag is a nice touch.

The wheels look great and yes, pewter is a beautiful color on the C5 - I had a pewter ‘00 coupe for 7+ years.

Your wheel/tire fitment is on point! Please, please, please, tell us what offsets you ended up running front and rear!
Well done!

Fronts r a 18x9.5 +45 and the rears r a 18x13 +43. These offsets clear my Wilwood big brakes but will not clear C6 Z06 brakes due to them sticking out farther from the rotor/wheel mounting surface than the Wilwoods.
Im also running -.7 degrees of camber in the rear. Any less camber and I'm not sure they would clear the fenders on big bumps with the rear ride height that low.
The fronts very very slightly poke but that's as far in as I could go to still clear my brakes. I had a +50 offset on my F14 fronts and they were pretty spot on.
I appreciate it man!

so if you’re running 18’s all around, do your tires still satisfy the stagger?
As for pewter, since it’s not exactly silver, it can go in ‘different’ directions. I’ve chosen to push the brown/taupe shading with my interior, and the stripes and calipers complement that shading. of course accent colors are subject to change without notice!

Thanks man. Yea I like the size. Not too big, not too small.
Appreciate it!
Yep. The sizes I'm running do not cause any stability or traction lights or anything. Cool. I'm sure it looks great.
Appreciate it!

I'm not always a black wheel fan, but the combination of the gloss, matte and the chrome (or stainless) really works with the pewter.
Your flag is great!
