Default That time of year!

For those of us who live up-north it is that time of year. I put the "Vet" into storage on Thursday after work and we got 10 inches of snow on Friday! I got lucky there! Oh well, all I can do now is wait for spring!

Still driving my '04 here in northern IL. Won't be long before she goes in hibernation. Runs great in this cool air!

Haven’t put mine away yet - the forecast calls for temps in the 60s this week. But it won’t be long before the car will be put away - usually it’s by December 1st.

I drove mine last winter, at least one day every month, but then last winter was a bit abnormal as we never did have much salt and more rains than snow kept the roads clean. The best part is, NO BUGS.

I drive mine all winter long, just have to pick the days and I am in Kansas. The winters are generally pretty mild here with the occasional spurt of bad weather but it melts and dries fairly quickly.

You guys in Minnesota have it alot worse than we do on Cape Cod. Still driving here except for today. Big storm coming with 70 mph winds, but NO SNOW.

Is that why they call it MinneSNOWda? Your neighbors are showing up daily here in Florida!

Empathize with you, Bob, and with all the others who have to park their ride for 4-6 months. Everyday in NC is not perfect, and certainly not as nice as our Florida, Arizona, and California friends, but we still have many days throughout the winter when it'll be high 50s and no precipitation. That's one reason I have all season tires on.
Know you are already looking forward to spring! Best wishes!

I put my 02 away last week and plan on putting the 99 away soon. We had snow flurries yesterday and it's currently just 38 degrees here in Iowa. I'd have the 99 put away too but she was having some problems so she is in the shop getting repaired. Hopefully just wires and plugs.

It's typically April 15th to Nov 15th for my "toys" where I live. It's really going to hurt this year since I just picked up my '99 FRC two weeks ago. Lucky for me we had several warm and dry days to get to know she, tinker with her and enjoy driving her. The morning temps and dampness make traction a bit of an issue with the current NT05 tires and the "warmed over" engine. I just hope when I get back from the SEMA show that I have a few more nice days left before she has to go into hibernation.

i dont mind driving in the cold....just as long as the the roads have no salt on them and there is no snow forecast. my issue is more of the grass driveway to the garage so my other concern is soft earth it is also a slight incline i have to deal with but the posi traction handles it very well

Gonna be ordering new wheels soon, since I sold my CCW's. Thought about getting all season tires, then I came to my senses. I don't drive in the bad weather, that's why I have other vehicles.

It is the polar opposite here in Florida.
Just getting past hurricane season and looking forward to good driving weather.
