This is a Tway Motorsports (TM) splitter which can be run with or without spacers, however the spacers are designed to mate directly to a World Challenge bumper. The larger opening is absolutely required for cooling if you are going to track your car.

Mounting is also something that has to be addressed. There is a mounting kit that goes with the above TM setup. One cannot simply take a flat splitter, or integrated splitter with spacers and bolt it to an OEM bumper. The OEM bumper is too flimsy and weak to take any load at speed. World Challenge bumpers are either fiberglass or carbon fiber, and are significantly stiffer than the OEM plastic bumper.

Looks are subjective and will obviously be a matter of personal taste. However, I find that rendering to look too "busy". I am sure you were going for a look that included some support in the middle of the splitter, but the dual vertical supports shown give the splitter 3 openings, which just isn't working for me. I definitely prefer a cleaner appearance when one center opening is used.

I like the width of the opening but not the middle fins. If you keep them, I think you sold try to mirror the lines of the front Liscence plate filler. I'd make the angle on each side parallel Instead of the outer sides being fairly straight. It gives a harsher angle and don't fit the curves in the bumper already. I do like seeing the progress

I concur. Too busy. A opening as wode as the center splitter would be preferable, and farther out in front of the bumper by a little as well. It won't generate ANY downforce while it is overshadowed by the nose of the car.

I feel the same, I like the large opening in the middle if you get rid of the small pieces that separate it... I also think it extends down a little too far which makes it look too bulky and will sacrifice ground clearance on a street car... I would probably like it more if it extended out a bit farther too and have the ends meet the edge of the bumper instead of leaving part of it exposed

I dig the first rendering and know why it's made that way, at speed it needs it for rigidity. At speed you don't want it folding down like C6 cars do.

On the car that will look much different than staring straight at it from eye level.

that looks MUCH better, I like it a lot... fastfatboy does bring up a good point about stability at high speed... personally I would need something that won't fall apart at 180+

Getting better, a little more lip on the sides would help.

like this much much better. I like the slight point on the lip. I think the lip is too much for a street car ( killing ground clearance with that overhang) and needs more for a track car. I'd like to see a rendering of the lip wrapping around to the sides. If the lip does grow out it probably needs some turnbuckles for structural integrity.

again over all like this much better

just noticed the ends are still cut a bit short from the edge of the bumper, is there a reason for this?

From a looks standpoint, I like the latest rendering. But people need to understand that to have a functioning front splitter, you should be able to stand on it once it is mounted. If they are going for looks only, then it is a very nice looking piece.

Here is the latest update! The following renders show both versions: the splitter without the under tray and WITH the under tray [Race Edition]
