4.10 Gear Install Shop in Central FL?
Reposting here since I did not get any responses in the C5 Tech forum
Can anyone recommend a good shop to do a 4.10 rear gears install in central FL? Not going to be seeing drag strip, drag radials, or hard launches and in the stock single rib case so likely won't do the hardened output shafts or other C6Z diff upgrades. Going to have to drop the trans and dif to replace the output shaft cover seals so thinking I may do the 4.10s at the same time.

Have the shop replace the internal clutches and springs with C6Z stuff while they're at it. Mine was "lightly driven and never raced" and had a broken spring. Now is the time to do it!
The stock 3.42 diff arrived today at RKT Performance for a rebuild and Motive 4.10 ring and pinion install. Rick sent over some pictures of the worn clutches and broken Belleville spring.

In addition to the Motive 4.10s it will be getting new C6Z06 clutches, springs, seals, and o-rings.
While I wait on T56 parts and the diff I think I'll start to work on the torque tube. That will consist of inspection of the rubber couplers (guibos), bushings, and bearings. Last of the "must do" items is an LS7 clutch and flywheel. I am starting to get the itch to drive this thing.

I remember you mentioning that in another post. That certainly will be done while I'm in there. Did you have any signs that the spring was broken? Any weird sounds or driving characteristics?
