I have a 1999 C5 with a tinted acrylic / plastic original top. It has started to peel. It appears that it’s the top coat almost like a clear coat. Other than this spot which is a 1/4 inch wide and about 15 inches long the top is is in good condition. Does anyone know if this peeling can be fixed? And, what recommendations as to a place in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area that can make the repair andbor refinish the top. Thank you. Bill
Vetteman Jack, thank you for the attachment documents. I know this thread is old but I just purchased a transparent top and it looks in great shape on the top, but inside when you look out and have something dark in view, you can see a bunch of short scratches. They probably won't show up in the photos but thought I would try.
My question is whether these are inside or outside and if it is outside would buffing it out remove them? Thanks in advance for your time.
