Default November Trip to the National Corvette Museum

My wife and I went to the Museum over the weekend. Below are some pictures for your enjoyment until you get a chance to visit yourself. I do believe that Corvettes do not like the rain. Our C5 and one C7 were all that I noticed in parking lot.

Zora's Corvette

A good view of a early C5 with the rear mounted EBCM.

Only 1983 Left.

Ist 1981 built at Bowling Green Assembly Plant.

Facts on the high mileage 2000 donated recently to the Museum.

2000 Corvette with almost 800,000 miles on it.

It looks remarkable for that many miles!

I am going to have to get me one of these.

Thanks for looking.

A buddy took me to the museum in October, in his C5. We were on our way to the **** Creek machine gun shoot. He said it was a requirement. I became so impressed with the museum and his car that I bought my C5 last week. My brother bought a C5 since I came back. It's amazing how a trip to the museum has changed our lives. Now we are planning a trip to the museum in our C5s.

The NCM is a great place to visit. Whether you are a fan of the Corvette or not, the history of America's Sports Car is something any car enthusiast would find interesting. Thanks for the pics - reminds me I need to get back down there soon and see what's new.

Nice trip. I wonder if the Corvette Engineering group will perform an autopsy on the 773K mile car to look for abnormal wear items and find out how it took the abuse!

Thanks for the pics, Jerry!
Didn't realize they had the ~800k mile C5 there. Wonder what kind of good deal he got on a new one?!

BS......Rain or snow won't hurt them and contrary to popular beliefs .......they don't melt, as you found out !
