Leaking fluid out of bellhousing .... is it the slave cylinder? 2002 Corvette
Hi guys! New to the forum! I have a C-5 Corvette 2002....lost my clutch pedal and now I see fluid dripping out of the bell housing so more than likely it’s my slave cylinder ...... is it possible that it’s anything else? I see slave cylinders are common problem and I have 85,000 miles on the car
Are there any good directions to doing something like this on the floor? thanks so much

Welcome to the Forum.
In addition to the slave cylinder it could also be a simple leak in a hydraulic line. Check the line that runs between the master cylinder and the bottom of the reservoir. IIRC this line just slips over each of these fittings without clamps or retainers, so it’s possible the line has slipped away enough to cause a small leak.
The MC or line could also have a crack from age.
Good luck!
