Low milage cars? Hum. Is that 12k at a 1/4 mile at a time. Yea the car is clean, no wear an tear on the body. You would never know if they were running a drag pac wheel/tire set up.

And then you are going take that clean low milage Z and start modding it, and beating on it, or are you going to be parking it, and not driving it to save it for the next owner. so why not save even more bucks and buy a mid to hi mile car, and put that saved cash in to making it yours.

Mark.

Yeah I'm really torn on this one...I forgot to mention the modded '03 is the same price $23k. I sort of like the idea of buying that one, doing some baseline maintenance, lowering it, doing the CCW's and calling it a day. Not really sure I want to build a bone stock one - the cost adds up fast! Plus I only drive it once or twice a week, and of course it sits ALL winter in my garage.

0% I'd buy any vehicle without driving it. Likely any low mileage car is fine, but that's not a risk I'd take. Get on a bus, drive both, drive one (if one really works) home.

I like the '01 for the low miles and stock, I like the '03 for the mods which I'd just spend money on anyway.

Only additional thing I will be adding to either is CCW SP500 19/19. What say everyone?

BIGZ06 is right on. The stock titanium exhaust is an amazing sounding exhaust so I would see the Borla as a negative to the value of the car. Further, with 54k miles on the odometer it's just another high-priced car. You should be able to buy that at $18k-19k.
