I am still looking for seats for my C5 and stumbled across this. Perhaps its already been posted elsewhere but I had not seen this.

Apparently the announcement is already on this forum:

I hadn't seen those.

I quite like the looks, looks like it could alllllmost be a factory seat, which is awesome

Not a bad looking seat. Curious what they will be selling for when they are released.

I've had the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo9s in for several years now.
Feels like a different car.
Huge improvement over the factory seats
but probably getting hard to come by

This is the greatest news since the start of C5 production.

$1400 per seat + $300 for the mounting bracket.
Vivid racing and Stable Energies (Recaro Master distributor) are taking pre-orders now.

When I first saw this I thought these were a "must-have".
At $3400 plus shipping, OUCH!
I'm not sure I want to cough that up for seats. I was hoping they would be around $1K each in fabric and i would have given my deposit today.
According to Stable Energies, all seats will have leather with various color options for center inserts.

Good if you can still find them.
I paid 1200.00 shipped for the Evo9s and used the OEM power tracks with some simple adapter brackets.

I like them but the price is a little steep, comes with the territory I guess... I have a set of evo x recaros that I am going to try to install hopefully in the near future and they were less than half of what these cost

Corvette tax I guess ? When I first saw the thread, I was thinking a $1000 a seat would be worth it. My driver's seat foam has rapidly degraded in the last few years, it really needs a refurb. A Recaro would be nice, but 1400 plus 300 for the bracket is a little steep for me to justify. Especially 300 for the bracket. Ouch. Guess when the time comes, I'll just order new foam and take it to an upholstery shop.
