I doubt it was a C5 specific part. More likely a generic Supra-style spoiler. Actual Supra spoiler would need lots of work to make it fit the flat C5 rear deck, since the Supra has a very curved rear hatch.

I loved those cars. Back in 1991, when I got back from Desert Storm, I wanted one but could not afford one so downgraded and I got an Eagle Talon TsiAWD. If I recall correctly, the 3000GT VR4 had 300 hp. They also were AWD and had 4 wheel steering. They ended up having 320 hp.

Love these too. And boy, can they be upgraded to make HUGE hp

But the wing on a C5

I would have thought it would have caught on by now. True Corvette aficionados quickly recognize it as the Mark II Drying Unit Device (sometimes called the "DUD").
I use it when cruising to dry my towels so I'm ready to clean the car again when I get to my next stop. With the pull out clothes line cruise at 70mph and towels dry quickly (stainless steel, powder coated line to match the car is an option). Dry towels help keep the car looking clean all the time.

All kidding aside I think I've seen this available in an older Midamerica catalog. I couldn't believe anyone would offer something so ugly for sale for the C5.

I was an old school DSM-er too and had a 90TSi AWD from ~96-2002

Quick as hell but I greneded the 4G63 over and over so it got to be no fun.

Haven't touched my LS1 based on the lack of reliability my talon had once I made it go faster

Knock on wood, no problems yet with my DSM. Had her since new, she now has about 400 HP and I know that's all the further I can go on the stock block. Still, 200 HP per liter is pretty impressive. If our LS1 could do that on a stock block, we'd be good to go up to over 1100 HP

While I'm normally all about the large rear wings (had an early STi, love the Supra and ITR wings), the placement is killing me. If it were further back and wider, maybe it could work on the right car.

That being said, the ITR wing is definitely the closest.

Me tinks, it was part of a package that also included ‘Caliper Covers’, and a Wheel-skin. Needs tires sticking out past fenders for that ‘finishing touch’.
