With that few miles I think you got a great deal! I'm surprised the asking price wasn't $25K! Sellers now days seem to think low mileage C5s are worth double of high mileage C5s...

Car looks great. As long as you were comfortable with the price, it doesn't matter how much it was. It's not a car you're going to flip.

When I bought mine 6 years ago, I felt I paid towards the top end. I had it appraised and the value was just $500 more than I paid. The car was EVERYTHING I was looking for.

Fast forward to today and over 100,000 miles of my driving it. I smile every time I think about owning that car. Was it worth it.... ABSOLUTELY. What is done is done. Enjoy it and don't look back.

I think I'm going to need to see a few more pictures before I can give you my expert opinion
Nassau blue is my favorite color, and I would have paid that in a heart beat
one day I will have my black ZO6 painted that color
more pictures please!

Take it from someone who spent the last a year and a half scouring the market nationwide.
With the miles on that car, you got a very good deal. Not a great deal. Not an average deal.
Have no remorse or regrets. Your car is badass!

Default Whut?

HELLUVA deal for a 10k-mi FRC, especially if you say it's "show-room". Hell, it's barely broken-in AND it's Nassau Blue. Very rare in some peoples' eyes. 202 in 1999 (1st yr) and 189 in 2000. What was the question again?

I think you did good.

Look at any vehicle, new or used and I would say they all have gotten really expensive!

Lets say you bought a brand new entry level economy car, do they still make Chevy Cavilier, or whatever is just a basic 2 or 4 door, probably manual windows, 4 cylinder and A/C.

Could you buy it off the lot for what you paid for that Corvette?

I bet it would be over 20k!

Plus it's just a brand new entry level cheapy car.

You didn't pay "to" much, nor did you pay too much.

Since it is lowered, I would check the bottom of the car for damage.
A member here recently posted a video of a dented oil filter on his lowered, recently purchased C5.

First thing I looked for was damage. No damage.. He had it lowered only a few hundred miles ago. I plan on raising it a little bit.

I would raise it a bit and to your question about the GS stripes, I'd lose them as well. It's not a GS. Just my .02. (haters? )

I bought an ultra low mileage car myself 3 years ago. I paid a little more also but was happy with having a well maintained L/M car. I think that is a good price for a car that will last you a long, long time. Congrats on the purchase.

Yep, someone's gonna say "chrome wheels are too blingy", or "chrome wheels are only for old people"...

Chrome is for 57 Chevy's but it looks good on some color cars, blue being on of them.
