AGAIN...C5 Hood pics, post them here...
As Vetteman Jack has suggested...
"There are a lot of pics that no longer show up due to the Photobucket debacle. Instead of bringing back a two year old thread, let's just start a new one with updated pics that work."
So I guess we'll just start over...hood pics never get old...lots of new members want to see them....I get tons of emails asking me to post pics again so they can see a real S/C MCM high rise hood...warning...lots of pics...Please re-post your hood pics again...

He did post pics in post #8. Creating a thread like this is bound to get some comments on the various hoods so don't be surprised when it happens. As long as it does not get to be a bashing thread, things will be OK. But this thread is not going to last long if the complaints keep coming in.

I think I see where the idea of the MCM hood came from?
MCM hood evolved from this?
and the hood evolution continues
I actually like the C3 better

Don't really know what hood this is. It was on my FRC when I bought it. I love it, but it looks good from 10yds and beyond. any closer and it needs to be redone.
Whoever prepped this hood does not know what he's doing. There are a lot of flaws and ripples in the paint job particularly where looks to be brace lines.
I was quoted $600 to get that corrected, so it's in the to do list, but waiting on funding.

I took another route as I like the stock low profile and clean look outside...
...and very smooth inside after filling and sanding...
The color is Lamborghini Rosso Mars pearl effect (as I wanted a custom touch instead of the OEM torch red)
