Great looking tire and price too! Good luck with them. I'll definitely take a look at those.
Like you, I'm a few months away from driving (Massachusetts) and have just started looking...Baby needs a new pair of shoes this spring...2003 50th AE. In your research, did you happen look at the Nitto NT555 G2's? Their on my radar primarily because I'd like to widen the stance just a bit with 255/45's in the front and 285/40's in the back. Not finding those sizes with too many of the well known manufactures. Open to ideas...

Honestly, I don't think I did look at the Nittos. I searched for my size at the Tire Rack and looked at customer feedback. My main focus was how long they lasted and how they performed dry. I don't drive the car in weather so wet performance was not a concern. Choosing the tire size and wheel combination was as stressful as anything. I ended up with stock sizes. Maybe next go around we'll fatten them up.

I know it's the middle of winter and we're a solid 2 months away from any decent weather, but I'm so excited to have picked up my new tires today. I ended up going with stock sizes, FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 XL. I bought them from Tire Rack. I'm located 15 mins from their warehouse so I was able to pick them up and avoid the shipping cost. $479.00 out the door. I know the Pilots are better (out of my budget). but I did my research and these had some awesome reviews. I'll do a full review after a put some miles on them.
