Like you, I'm a few months away from driving (Massachusetts) and have just started looking...Baby needs a new pair of shoes this spring...2003 50th AE. In your research, did you happen look at the Nitto NT555 G2's? Their on my radar primarily because I'd like to widen the stance just a bit with 255/45's in the front and 285/40's in the back. Not finding those sizes with too many of the well known manufactures. Open to ideas...

Honestly, I don't think I did look at the Nittos. I searched for my size at the Tire Rack and looked at customer feedback. My main focus was how long they lasted and how they performed dry. I don't drive the car in weather so wet performance was not a concern. Choosing the tire size and wheel combination was as stressful as anything. I ended up with stock sizes. Maybe next go around we'll fatten them up.

I'm located 15 mins from their warehouse so I was able to pick them up and avoid the shipping cost. $479.00 out the door. I know the Pilots are better (out of my budget). but I did my research and these had some awesome reviews. I'll do a full review after a put some miles on them.

Damn good choice IMO!!!

I wanted to wait till the cold weather was past us, but I got the tires mounted up. So far, very happy with the ride and handling of these Firestones.

I put those on my DD Juke Nismo RS and love them - amazing bang for the buck!
