Melting Slicks
1965 Chevrolet C10 short bed pick up, fleetside bed and big rear glass "Custom cab"
Got it when I was 17, I'm 40 now.
It's kinda in fashion now with the style of rust people call patina, other people make old trucks have faux patina by using rust colored paint.
It's kind of a muscle car like pickup, popped in a 396 big block and TH400, wide wheels and tires, with the gears 3.73 or 4.11 it screams high rpm on the freeway, plus no A/C.
It's light blue with white upper cab and even though it needs paint and body, people always ask about it or even compliment it, especially young women?
When I got it in1995 the 1960-1966 GMC and Chevrolet pickups were the least desirable pickups, 1959 and older as well as 1967 and newer were the popular ones.
20 plus years later they now make pretty much all replacement body parts such as bedsides, tailgates, hoods, complete doors, rust repair patch panels where driving on salted roads spattered and rusted floor areas and cab corners. (Almost every body panel has dents/dings, and I never put one on since getting it!)
Also put in classic performance products big block front springs, rebuilt suspension and steering while adding power disc front brakes and power steering.
Been thinking of putting in a LS engine and overdrive transmission for years but people/salvage yards seem to want too much $$ for them with 150k miles and more.
Maybe I'll splurge and put a brand new crate LS3 and gmpp engine controller, new accessories and brackets new Magnum T56, and leave the paint and body alone for a daily driver.
Add a Vintage Air A/C also.
A 1994 4 door Pontiac Grand Am to drive my mom to dr appointments, etc, the Corvette is too low for her to get in, and she hates the "fumes" on the 1965 Chevy pickup, at start up and red lights.

Drifting
None at the moment, but it probably will be a first gen SRX that I will attempt to LS swap. I would go with a BMW or Mercedes wagon, but they can't tow. My family has a 4500 lbs wake boat that I don't want to have to use the Dodge MegaCab all the time for.

Hell if someone had a Sport Roof with a manual that wasn't a basket case and wanted to straight trade for my C5 I couldn't throw them the keys fast at them fast enough.
I couldn't find a running MkIV for under 23k two years ago. I was blown away.

Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng. If I won the lottery I'd have one immediately.

Le Mans Master
Nice! I owned mine from 2001-2010. I was a Supraforums moderator the entire time, up until 2013 or so. I am still tight friends with all the Supra OGs on Facebook. Was looking at another one recently, but the prices are insane. Plus, many OEM replacement parts are discontinued. I just can't justify buying one, despite my love for them.
