Default Best Place to Purchase Callaway Honker?

Hello.

Been trying to decide on an intake upgrade and have decided to go with the Callaway Honker. Anyone know of the best place online to purchase one? Thanks.

You could try the C5 Parts forum as they do show up used there from time to time.
Probably out of production, I would think. What would be the next best intake then. Halltech?

It is not out of production. I'm sure if you called West Coast Corvette, or some place like that, they will have what you need.

I contacted Callaway directly. Here is the direct quote:

"They have been on backorder for a very longtime. We had to retool the molds. Parts are expected this week and we should start filling backorders next week."

So looks like it will be a few weeks.

After researching intakes and reading tons of forum posts, I think I will just stick to my stock intake. Maybe just do the zip tie mod.

I was wondering the same thing myself, hope to get this intake next spring. Just my two cents, i was thinking about doing the zip tie mod myself to save money, then started thinking don't cheap out and cut corners, so decided to get the honker when i have the funds. Good luck

I installed a Callaway Honker several years ago...one of the best engineered, best performing CAI's out there. Only downside is that you pay for that engineering...

I have had a Honker for several years. It works great, excellent quality and super easy to service when you need to clean it. I think it looks great,, too. Worth waiting for. I had a problem with my original unit and they had changed the composition of the plastic to improve it. When I contacted them, they replaced the entire unit with the new one at no charge. Good company to deal with.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Bought my Honker on a "group Buy". Saved a grip but it sat in the garage for 11 years, now installed and makes a world of difference from a stock system. Seat of the pants performance is amazing. Car pulls harder now when rowing through the gears.
