20th Year of Ownership Today
Took delivery of my 1998 C5 20 years ago today at the National Corvette Museum. It's my first and only Corvette, born on date 1/26/98 and the 239th Corvette delivered via the NCM R8C option package. Today it has 42,837 miles, and last month completed a 2,000 mile trip from NC to FL and back running as great as the day I drove it home from Bowling Green. The 98's been back to the NCM in 2006 and 2010 to take a great friend to the Museum to pick up 2 new C6's also in the NCM delivery program. The owners manual and window sticker were both signed by Corvette chief engineer Dave McLellan. Ownership has been a great experience both in meeting fellow Corvette owners and participation on this great forum.

No problems with engine, auto trans, differential, or axles. My 98 is pre-active handling option and hasn't had any EBCM issues, fingers crossed.
