I usually buy online and get them shipped to my house or to Powertech Performance in St Pete and have Joe install for me.....

you may want to ask in the forum Southeast section and see if anyone down your way has suggestions....for me finding a good installer who won't screw up your wheels is more important, you can get tires anywhere and have them shipped to the installer

what are you looking for? Runflats, non runflats?

Probably non run flats. I was thinking about Michelin Pilot super sports.

I have purchased tires from both Factory Tire Outlet and Shepherd Tire Pros. Excellent service from both places.

One time I checked tirerack and then stopped at a chain tire store about installation. They offered me the same tires installed for just a little more money and I let them do it.

Another time I called 2 chain stores 800 #s and let them bid against each other. Just make sure they put the stick on weights on the backside

Yesterday I got a price from Tire Choice (5720 Ranch Lake Road, Bradenton) on Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ ZP...$1,434.88 (including road hazard coverage)
The place has good reviews but I think their price is a little high.

The good part from buying at a tire store is that you can check the dates the tires came out of the factory.
I bought from TireRack and told them I did not want tires older than 9 months. When they were shipped to the installer, a couple of tires were over a year old. I complained and they reimbursed me for the shipping. Over all the transaction went fairly smooth.

One of my first mod learning experiences was when I ordered a set of aftermarket wheels with a tire package. It was one of my first mods and it was after mounting the wheels/tires and driving them for close to one year, that I realized the tires were already 2-years old when I mounted them. I guess that's why there are such great deals online.

Anyway, I also live in Bradenton and I've had a lot of good experience with Kauffman Tires on Lakewood Ranch Blvd. located in the Publix shopping center on the northwest corner of SR70 East and LWR Blvd. They have good prices, are willing to find the right tires and have a service warranty. I'm currently running CCW 505As with Hankook V12 non, run flat tires. I picked up a bolt in the middle of the front tire and took it to them to be repaired. They patched/repaired it for free because I had bought a set of tires for my wife's SUV there previously. I then had them swap out a failed TPMS and watched them carefully remove the tire from my CCW polished wheel and they did a good job and had the proper tools. I read that the Kauffman Tires of Georgia and Florida have been sold to Mavis Discount Tires earlier this year, so I hope that doesn't change anything in terms of service or policy.

I stopped there yesterday. Their price is $1,504.02 including road hazard. The Tire Choice on Ranch Lake Rd is $1,434.88.

The Tire Choice on Ranch Lake Rd was far superior compared to Kauffman Tires on Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Just got a set for BFGs for my C3 installed yesterday. I'll be going back to them when my C7 needs tires.

Long story short - Kauffman ordered the tires in for me. I stopped by the night before my appointment to make sure the tires had arrived and to confirm my appointment. Tires had not arrived and my install appointment was not even on the schedule. From what they told me, their call center will do anything to get the sale even it that means providing false info. He also mentioned that they were booked for the next week and couldn't make an promises when the tires arrived.

Beware of Tire Rack. I had a bad experience with them. One of their listed installers overcharged me for installation. Luke agreed to refund the overcharge and never did. Now I use Tire Rack only for a pricing reference and get a local dealer to meet or beat the price with no problems. Lesson learned (cost me about $50)

If interested I have a Staggered set 17" fronts with 18" rears.
Michelin Pilot Super Sport mounted on Chevy option QF5 Deluxe High Polish Wheels, with new TPMS sensors.
Tires almost new and wheels have some minor oxidation but no scrapes.
Set is still mounted on car till the new set arrives 10/1 or 10/2/2018.
This is a great set at a great price and will not be broken up. $600
In Sarasota.

I just bought 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S from tire rack and did as I usually do, have them shipped to my favorite installer with free shipping. Mounted and balanced $106.00 It's hard to mess it up, so easy to order.
