Another "no problem" confirmation with my laptop or my home Mac. I'm on a Verizon FIOS WIFI network at home and very rarely have a problem with download speed. Maybe issue is on your end. What system are you operating on? How old?

Internet Explorer does NOT like the forum. Chrome works fine.

The first thing I did when I got both computers was to delete internet explorer.

It is junk.

I run mostly chrome, and once in a while firefox.
As I said in my original post, all other sites load quickly, it is just this site that I am having problems with.
I make it a point to clear the history at least once a week from both computers.

Bob.

I had the same exact problem a while back. If you are already Chrome, then I can only assume...ghosts. Jim is messing with you.

I restart the computers, and no change.
I tried signing off, and logging in again, and still no change.

Where it isn't happening on any other site(and I go to many) it has to be something on this site that is causing it.

Just did a test to clock how long it took to fully load a page on three other sites, then this one.
Site 1= 3 seconds
Site 2= 6 seconds
Site 3 =3 seconds
This site= 22 seconds

Something sure isn't right.

Are you logged in? By that I mean do you select "remember me" so that you are already logged in?

I did all that last night when we were having this discussion, including logging out, and logging back in.

Windows 10 a little over a year old, and windows 8.1 I think about 3 or so years old.
Doubt it is any of my computers, because all other sites load quickly on both computers with no problem.

Default Fake Amazon prize

I get fake Amazon prize announcements only on this site. It locks things up. Happens both when signed in and when I’m not.

www.corvetteforum.com is hosted in Wichita, KS.

https://tools.keycdn.com/geo?host=www.corvetteforum.com

For some reason you might be taking the slow lane there from LA...

Are you running multiple programs when going to the forum? If so, try only a browser (IE, Chrome, or Firefox) and only one tab.

How much memory (RAM) you have in your computer? It should be at least 4GB...and which Windows version, 7,8, 10?

I only run Windows 7 Pro 64bit on all my computers, the forum loads on my laptop in 3 seconds. Firefox is my browser of choice.
