Default Replacing Fuel Door with Aftermarket

I asked this a couple of months ago with limited response, so I thought I would give it another whirl before the new fuel door I bought turns into another garage ornament.

Anyone have some easy to follow steps regarding removing and replacing stock door?

If you've done it, how difficult?

I'm looking and I have some since of what needs to get done but it appears I'll have to remove the rear fender, which I would prefer not to take on. Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

If you have the time, how about posting up the info you received - it could help out someone else.

Absolutely, I should have thought of that myself.

The information is the courtesy of Red Dwarf, which I was able to use and replace my gas lid without any hassle. The screw in the back is a bit of a PIA, but you'll get it with patience. Thanks Red Dwarf for the help!
