Default Lots of good things happening in the C5 parts world.

I think I could spend my entire salary on parts for this car right now. There are a lot of good parts coming out it seems and some that have been around for a while that I want pretty badly as well.

Just yesterday I noticed that Kooks does an axle back. It's available in 2.5 or 3.0 and with chrome or black tips. I'm fairly certain this is new, but I could be wrong. I know just under a year ago I was hunting for a 3.0 inch black tipped exhaust and couldn't find one. If they had it then I don't know how I missed it because I bought their headers! Guess it's on my wish list now.

QuickZ6 is coming out with the new rear bumper with integrated spoiler. He already makes a rear diffuser and flared quarters as well. Also, it looks like he's going to get the flared front fenders out as well.

Vettenuts is about to release their double din bezel which looks to be by far the nicest option on there for a dd bezel.

The other thing I have a hard on for currently has been out for a while and that's the LG drop spindles. High dollar, but so cool.

Anyway, I just thought I'd give some props to some of these guys for continuing to make awesome parts for such an old ride. I'm sure there's other stuff I haven't mentioned, but that's probably just because it's not on my radar for some reason or maybe not one of my wants or needs. That said, feel free to chime in with something that you appreciate having been brought to the market. Maybe you turn me on to something I didn't know was there.

It is very for some vendors to still be making new items for the C5 - seems like there for a while everything was geared towards the newer generations (which I can't blame the vendors for doing so). Hopefully the trend will continue and more items will be developed.

Speaks volumes to the staying power of the C5, a timeless design and a sweet ride that is a blast to customize.

They are too rich for my blood but when you consider that they start as a solid block of metal just the machine time has to be significant. Someone had a used set for sale last year for $2k and I still didn’t bite. It will be interesting to see what VetteNuts may come up with.
