Painting Calipers vs Covers

Anyway, the bracket is the part that connects the caliper to the steering knuckle. It sort of loops around the outside of the caliper.

Disk brakes are intimidating? Try working on drums. I did that once, and vowed never to buy another drum equipped vehicle. So many little parts and springs to work with. Disks are dead simple.

Not available in the color the OP is looking for but I saw the G2 paint system mentioned on page 1.
I used the G2 kit and painted the calipers on my RSX back in 2011. When cleaned they still look great- bright red. This is after 6 years of autocrossing every local event, many out of area events, and (my best estimate) about 7-8 track days. That's 4 sets of Hawk pads burned to brake dust on the caliper paint and some serious temps. (I overcooked the brakes hanging with a 996- 911 for 5 laps and almost drove off turn 10 at pittrace)
I'd say the G2 paint if prepped correctly, holds up pretty well for anyone considering it.

the pics of the yellow and black look sweet. One Shot as suggested comes very close. there are two colors that would work, maroon which seems very dark or the next lighter, forgot the name, two words looks good, maybe better. thanks all again. had no idea I was going to get this much help, appreciated. just to show how much I know about vettes, when it was on a lift I could not locate the tranny, had to be shown. LOL !!!!!!!!!!. I'm learning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ask me about boats and I can nail it !!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL. This is my present one.

Thought I'd do a bit of photoshopping. My magnetic red car with red covers...not happening. Next photo is photoshopped with painted magnetic red calipers.

I wonder if TAN calipers to match your droptop would look good.

I’ve painted some calipers and can’t say color matching calipers look good at all. Pretty much all painted calipers look like *** when then stain from brake dust.
I’m doing my full setup right now and Soda blasted my calipers back to original

All great ideas.
Tan would certainly be unique.
Agree, that with the top down, tan might look out of place, therefore matching would work best....not often the top is up.
Hmmm...original colour with a freshen up look might also be worth exploring.
Thanks everyone.
