When I got my '99, my insurance co. wanted over $500 every 6 mos. So I went with NCM insurance for $328 /yr. $16000 agreed value, $250 deductible coll., 0 deductible comp., 6000 mi./yr with bankable unused miles, spare parts coverage $2000, garage kept.

I didn't know the miles were bankable and I could work with that...that's an excellent rate and coverage!

Adding to the thread and also asking a question. First off I have Heacock currently for 2 vehicles, one is a '75 Vette with I believe agreed value of $12K. They are very reasonable, much less than Hagerty and less strict than Grundy which rubbed me the wrong way as their application process was a nightmare. Easy Peasy with Heacock. However.....
Recently I was considering buying a square body C/10, lowered with a built 350 with a little over 350 horse etc. Nice little Hot Rod. Well Heacock comes back with a quote of over $450 due to the high performance nature of the vehicle. Anyone else run into something like this with your carrier? Who else has a hot rodded, supercharged, cammed Vette and is happy with the carrier and rates? Did you tell them it is not stock? Yo might want to consider that if you haven't or be surprised when trying to file a claim. I am in the process of buying a supercharged C5 Z-06 and before letting my fingers do the walking and calling everyone mentioned, I'm interested in who non stock owners use.
Thanks!

So I am going to purchase this '02 Z-06 this Thursday and needed to get insurance coverage all lined up in advance. I reached out to NCM as well as to my current carrier Heacock, where I currently have two other vehicles insured. Turns apples for apples comparison, same allowable miles driven, that Heacock was about $130 less per year than NCM, National Corvette Musuem. Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone looking or maybe even if you already have NCM to price shop it with Heacock and see. Now all I need is good weather for my drive home this Thursday and Friday.

I have State Farm for my daily drivers as well as my 65 Vette, 11 Grand Sport, and 67 Camaro. The 65 & 67 have Agreed Value Coverage and a 2000 mile per year mileage cap. No other restrictions.

Usaa
I recently got quotes from several insurance companies because GEICO took a big price increase. USAA was one of the highest quotes. I guess it depends on what State you are in. I finally went with Allstate.
