What company has the best rates for a C5 that is is a part time driver?
I currently have State Farm, They have always insured my Corvettes but they were daily drivers. Now this one is a fun car.

You might look into the National Corvette Museum Insurance Agency. I have them with my C5. They do have some driving restrictions, but their rates are very good.

I’m 28 with not the best credit but a clean driving record and had a 2004 Dodge Intrepid RT with full coverage that was 95$ a month. Surprisingly my 2000 C5 is only 100$ a month with full coverage. I use progressive and haven’t had any problems so far.

Look into Grundy and Hagerty.

I just renewed my insurance with Safeco. I have a '06 Z06 that is exclusively a show car driven 4000-5000 miles max per year. I have an agreed value of $70,000 and it cost me $906.00 per year. Hope this helps

Are you or have been connected to the Military? If so, check out USAA. I have a 7,500 miles a year, liability and comprehensive policy and I pay $49.00 a month.

I have NCM Insurance. $500 a year for a 6,000 mile per year plan. Agreed value of $10,000. I am 30 years old with a clean record.

Them and another one JC Taylor, read the fine print.
It basically says you are only insured to drive in parades.
Driving it as a real car you are not really covered, going to grocery store, or to grab fast food, going to work, or a road trip, probably not covered just to get gas.
Why would anyone want insurance that only covers driving in parades and not much else?
By the way I'm paying 66.57 per month for my 1999 convertible, zero comprehension deductible.
40 years old clean driving record, I have my 1965 Chevy pickup and Pontiac Grand Am parked and not insured at the moment, so Corvette is only one insured, when I had Pontiac insured too, both cars together were about 110.00 per month.
This is American Family Insurance, also have them for homeowner's insurance.
Had them for a little over 2 years now.

I'd recommend Amica. I'm only paying a little over $700 a yr. for my two cars. I also like the convenience of being able to pay for a year instead of every 6mos.

I used NCM; best rate for an equivalent policy from Hagerty's or USAA. YMMV, as I'm a low-risk insured.
I have USAA on my other cars; no one beats them, but in this case.
Call Adam or anyone over there... they are great. Seriously... a great service to the Corvette community, for sure.

Ditto Vetteman's comments. I have my coverage through NCM as well. My policy has a limit on annual miles but not a problem for me as my vette isn't my DD and she's stored late fall through mid-Spring. Underwriting company is good as well. I've had one claim and it was handled promptly, with no issues. Contact Adam at NCM and he'll treat you right.

They might not have the best rates, but generally have the best service. I had NCM for my 74 Vette, but USAA for everything else including my 02 Z06 (I think I pay $225 a month for the Vette, 2012 E-class, and home insurance as well as a personal coverage).
