Thank you all for your help and direction as I'm a C4 guy who is "pulling the trigger" on a C5! I appreciate all the help with the "do's and don'ts" and what to look for. Plus, it is a super cool platform for me to learn!
I'm picking up this '04 Z06 CE and driving back to Texas this weekend. It has 42k on it and my wife will actually accompany me on the trip, so it will get a thumbs up. The '04 will join my 91 ZR1 and the 89 so I now have a "TriVetta."
Here are a few pics from the ad but I'll post some road trip shots. I appreciate any advise to help the Noob.
I'm glad to be apart of the C5 gang!

Thanks- I've having fun with the car. I was pretty sane with my wife in the car for the ride home (no complaining then) but I've had it out a few times today by myself and WHOA this thing is breathtaking.
From the Trip: My wife and I with John the previous owner. He was an absolute pleasure and is a true "car guy," My wife Lisa in "Old Town Albuquerque" for lunch before the trip back to Dallas. Then the CE at the "Cadillac Ranch" In Amarillo and then finally in my driveway. Zero issues on the trip-- the car was perfect!
