Default It’s mid March and I’m Jonesin to get the car out...

Snowed yesterday and it looks like the village tried to empty their salt supply. High of 38 today, next five not looking much better. Hopefully by April 1.

Anyone else just getting stir crazy?

Yeah, getting antsy to get mine out too. Not so much the snow, just some rain.

Yes, going crazy. 2 years ago i started driving the car Feb 14. This year would be next week, but we're going to be out of town.
Mid teens (C, mid 50's F) and snow is almost completely gone. Roads are pretty gritty still...
Will get it ready next weekend.

Snows gone here in Central New Jersey but the roads are still white with a massively thick layer of salt. My car stays put until a few heavy rains wash the roads.

We've gotten 8" of snow, since Monday, with more predicted this coming weekend. I like my Jeep, but this is getting ridiculous!!

I was talking with my cousin in Edison, last weekend. She was telling me that the main roads were passable, but the sides streets, like where she lives, were a mess of packed snow and ruts.

However, she and her husband have both recently retired, and are tired of the taxes in NJ. They had a house built outside of Bethlehem, PA, and they'll be moving within the next couple of weeks.....

I would love to drive the Vette on your roads...that's what it was built for.
NOT, the Florida roads..... Flat and straight and hot.

P.S. Looked it up....just west of Portland

yes, just got 24" of fresh snow this week, possibly more next week as well.

I've always said that here in MA, the hardest month of the year is March 15 -April 15. Roads not only are snow and salt covered, there is a bumper pothole crop this year.

At least in the F350, I can see them far enough ahead to avoid, but in the Vette, they sneak up on you.

Hoping to dust her off mid April, but the weather pattern has to change.

It's been dry here but I have been too darn busy to get the old girl out. Spring break is next week though and I will definitely be on the prowl.

I took mine out for a spin yesterday. I've managed to drive it at least once each month, again this winter. The good part is no freakin' bugs.

During the Winter, I get my C5 drive fix once a week depending on whether there is snow/ice/salt on the road. Life is too short to just stare at the Vette parked during the winter.

And in my case, we're not actually getting the full brunt of those storms. Although we're classified as the "snow belt", due to our proximity to the Great Lakes, it's the Atlantic coast that has been getting pummeled.

We've gotten about 104" of total snowfall, for this season, in my area, and while that is indeed a lot of snow, it's only about 4-5" above average. For us, it's just that the snow is dragging into March....

Default Today Is First Time Out Of Garage Since December

Thankfully we don't have long winters in North Alabama but they can be hard...that's my DD Spider GTS under a blanket of snow back at the hotel in Montgomery just a little over a month ago!

I normally winter store my cars around Thanksgiving and bring them out of storage in late March or early April...today was the day this year as the Z06/Z16 is back on the road. I blew the cobwebs out on a spirited 150 mile run to Montgomery and will return to North Alabama this evening making for a 300+ mile first day back on the road! Hello spring 😎

Stir crazy to the tenth degree
Just too much sand/salt still on the road and possible snow in forecast
