also I did the corvette lettering with a good flat tipped black paint pen, then shot over it with matching brand high temp clear coat to the gold and primer, didn't bother clearing the rears since I trust the enamel to harden plenty on its own and not need protecting. its been months and thousands of miles and theres no difference in color or finish between front and rear and they just wipe clean. used the auto zone super high temp engine enamels due to the better color selection than caliper paint, and its higher temp rated.
