It may have 'felt' slower to me in the beginning (like first 2-3 days) but I think it was just adjusting though tbh bc now it feels great and pretty much exactly like how it felt before. If you add more power later, the 'loss' of getting a heavier clutch may be negligible but ill let others chime in on that part.

my twin disc was ~10lbs lighter than my stock clutch and I could notice a considerable difference in how the car revved and accelerated... I'm not sure of the weight of the ls7 clutch compared to stock but I would assume it's at least 10lbs heavier so if you can notice a difference with a lighter clutch I would say the same would apply to a heavier one

Works as Designed
From Autobob of Wichita, Kansas on 11/25/2016.

I like the Katech design as it has a tapered seat that properly fits the factory bleeder. Other designs I found rely on a flat seal with washer. We did this with engine / bell housing / torque tube installed. We dropped the exhaust and tunnel shields. It is a pain to do and takes a while but is possible just don't drop anything inside. First install the taper seat part tightly; we lightly taped the part to an 11mm socket for security. The center of socket needs to be large enough to allow the threads of part to come thru so your ratchet will only fit part way into the socket. Then you attach and secure the line with fitting. It may be best to have a shop do this as they may have a broader range of tools to work with.

Reviews on Katech remote bleeder, sounds like it may seal better than the type with washer.

Anyone here run the Katech bleeder?
