Lol not questioning if it will work. Some threads say LG1 can be installed with C5 seatbelts and interested in pros/cons for swapping to C6 seatbelts. Also, do you plan on adding a harness bar? Changing seats (reclining) and adding a harness bar are my next project.

I am also looking at the LG1's, but I would prefer to stay with my C5 seatbelts if they will work. I would appreciate your observations when you get yours.

Well heres the test fit. You absolutely need to cut out the plastic where the bottom reel is. I messed up and got convertible belts instead of coupe for the c6 conversion. The convertible ones dont have the "pulley" installed. I tried like hell to swap the c5 one over. I already bought the vert ones so why not. Ground out the insides of the buckle to get it off but in the end you have to destroy them too much to swap the c5 pulley over.
soooooooo c6 coupe belts are on the way. Ebay says weds. In the meantime I'll fit the seats and get the plastic trimmed and be ready for final assembly on weds

Those look very perfect IMO. Is the width good - no interference with any part of the car?
I do not know what the reel and pulley discussion is all about - would appreciate a little more info on that if you have a moment.
Cheers!

It needs a vac but they are in overall a much better driving experience. They fit me awesome.
one thing to note. They do sit closer to the pedals than the stock ones. I'm 6'3" and I'd call the position a comfortable competitive position. But not a stretched out highway position for sure.
for my use I'm 100% pleased with them. Now just to clean this thing and get it out tomorrow lol.

well it's officially cold here in Pittsburgh... and the vette is now tucked away until spring. I'll update when the blower goes on in march. but for now, it's time for the long sleep lol. I put the boards up because it's VERY tight on that side of the garage and the car is close to the pole. and the kids get out of my wife's jeep and i was afraid of them dinging it or stepping on the carbon fiber lol... so i made a box fort... for the vette

What if there is a fire an you need to get to it quick to get it out of the garage? JK - looks safe and secure plus it is insured....
Also, I am not far behind you here in MN. I am going to take the winter to rip the drivetrain out of mine, replace the rear main seal, clutch, torque tube bushings and rear leaky axle seals.... I should almost be done by April!!
