Thanks, was finally able to attend a cars and coffee last weekend at scottsdale but was too hot to stick around. I went ahead and joined ACE and saw you on there. Will hopefully cross paths sooner than later.

Yeah, it's been pretty warm out lately so I haven't been out for a while. Glad you joined ACE, we will meet up at some point I'm sure.

Looking sharp Nick, Can't wait to see what you put down on the dyno! I think you'll still be in the 600 rwhp zone

wait until 600 rwhp feels slow, then its get exponentially more expensive to go faster

Have put 450miles on the car while the AC works great not in a rush to drive the car when it's still averaging 105degress+ outside. Don't want to dyno it till october.

It's been running really well been fine tuning things. Switched to 10w-40 oil to accommodate my bigger oil clearances on the mains and rods to get a little more oil pressure. Running an .002 and .0021 respectively for clearances. Getting 32psi or so at idle at running 212 oil temp.

Only issue I currently have is when the car is ice cold after sitting overnight and I go to start it, it will crank a couple times before starting. Doesn't matter if the battery was on a tender. When the car is warm it starts right up. If I toggle key to on/off a couple times it will start right up in the morning likely indicating a leak in the fuel some where. Two most likely culprits I have researched it could be are the check valve or possibly an injector.

Can't smell any fuel and had the injector just cleaned which makes that unlikely. The fuel filter was replaced 5k ago but I did have year old gas in the tank when starting the car after the motor rebuild. Ordered a can of bg 44k and am going to give that a shot. Have taken many logs, afr is good, fuel pressure when driving is good. Going to keep on fighting the good fight and try and get everything perfect. Don't want to hit the dyno until next month after the new baby is here and temps cool down into the 80s.

Haven't been able to isolate my hard cold start culprit. Everything else has seemed good and logged well. Tomorrow is judgement day on the dyno. Only thing I care about at the moment is reliability. Would be totally happy with 400whp anything more is gravy. With having my second kid it's going to be challenging to find time to do an oil change in the next year let alone anything really time consuming. Wish me luck and pray that I don't blow it up tomorrow.

At 8.6:1 compression and pump gas at 10psi I think I'll be lucky to crack 500whp. We will see.

That's the Idea, doing an oil change today and probably redo my wiring and halos for the headlights. Think this thread has run its course and am finally recovered from this year and half journey.
