I purchased my all time dream car
I recently purchased a 1999 sebring silver c5, which has been my dream car ever since I was 10 years old, I am now 20. the car has 76,500 miles, I purchased it about a month ago with 73,000 miles, so needless to say I have definitely put some miles on the car! I purchased it for $9950, with a broken abs module and a squeaky belt, so I have fixed the belts, and I don't mind not having traction control because I would turn it off anyways lol. I'm hoping for many, many years to come with this car, then 5 years down the road I will get a c7 or possibly c8, god willing.
Edit: wow, I am absolutely blown away by the hospitality of the corvette community. I'm coming from a 2008 335i that had stage 2 Twin turbos, pushed about 550 whp so I do know my way around high horsepower cars, but this corvette is a completely different animal! The amount of speed I can pull through a corner with compared to a BMW is absolutely insane. I've been so pleased with the reliability of the car, compared to the BMW that had issues every other day. The corvette definitely attracts much more attention, I've had many people talk to me at red lights and gas stations and have conversations about the car which almost never happened with the BMW! I appreciate all of the kind words and advice and just the general friendliness of the Corvette community.

Lovely car-- take good care of it and it will give you many years of enjoyment (do be sure to check the dates on your tires---if they are old, or worn, spend the money to replace them, as the saying goes, you have a lot riding on those tires).
