2001Corvette LED FOG LIGHT BULB
I can't find a set of LED bulbs for my 2001Corvette. The bulbs that I've tried either won't fit into the opening of the housing or wiring won't fit. Regular bulb is a 899.
Can anyone give me the LED FOG LIGHT BULB number that will fit. Thanks

The eBay listing is all over the place regarding this info and it's impossible to get an objective idea.
The listing says 142,000 lumens and 950w (doesn't specify if per "pair" or per "bulb"). On the other hand, the item details says 488w/pair!...
Even if the 142,000 lumens are per pair, that would be 71,000 lumens per bulb and that doesn't seem reasonable, to say the least...
With LEDs it is a common practice to publish the wattage that an incandescent bulb would need in order to produce the same light output of the advertised item, but 950w is kind of huge Even if per pair, it would translate to 475w per "bulb" and that contradicts what they say in the item details: 488w per "pair"... Anyways, it is the real power consumption of these bulbs what I would like to know.
Any help to solve this will be appreciated

Do you know how many lumens they produce and how many watts they consume?

There are LED arrays that match the light output of HIDs on the market.
The short answer to your question would be to not buy the ebay LED bulbs in question.

885 might be better
I bought the LED from amazon and it does not give as much light as a "standard" 885 50w bulb does - so I took mine back out and just put in a new set of the 885's - about $10 each at auto parts stores and a direct replacement item.

Which one did you buy from Amazon? Can you provide a link?

I bought the LEDs to replace the factory fog light bulbs because I wanted to get away from the dingey yellow color. The color of the LEDs are good, but they are not bright at all which makes them pretty useless. I’ll probably put in HID fog lights down the road.

Drifting
Fits perfectly in the stock location with stock brackets, and actually provides usable fog light. I rarely use them as my 55 watt FX-R 3.0s completely overpower them, but they're great if you use the approach lights option.

Pictures tell the story
The one from post #3 is on the left and the 885 is on the right. It is 50W where the stock 899 is 37W. As to color - many fogs are actually yellow as that color is shown to give better vision in fog conditions,
