you need an mgw c6 shifter shaft or there used to be a company that sold a c6 style **** that threaded onto the c5 shaft, not sure who makes it but it is not oem

You might want to try a C4 M shift ****. It's smaller that the OE C5 ****, screws on the same, uses the same shift pattern insert, feels better, and looks great in the C6. Check it out!

when you order a MGW shifter, there is an option on what style of shift **** you want to use. Contact them for the different style shaft.

If anyone with an MGW shifter is interested, I have an MGW C6 shifter lever and OEM leather C6 **** available. It will thread directly into your current MGW shifter adapter.
