if you do buy the car NEW TIRE'S are A MUST before any sort of drive home ....all fluid's will require a change more so the coolant then any thing else..i would also install new a/c belt and main drive belt as well and two new upper and lower coolant hose's just to be safe other then that its a 20k car all day long

I would want to know how the driver seat had that much wear if the car has such low miles.
I agree, I have 10,000 miles on an 03 z06 and my seats are perfect

Apparently some people equate WEAR with TEAR. The OP stated twice that the seat had a small/tiny tear in it. There’s a big difference between the two, especially how it relates to the overall condition of the car.

I paid $21k for my 03 (not z06) with 21k miles, no flaws...I think I could have talked them down a tad more..oh well

We also don’t know overall body condition. I’m not going by the pic either. We do know it has a scratch on the rear bumper. Doesn’t mean the whole finish is in bad shape.
OP also stated that there was a small tear in the bolster. Since he didn’t indicate that it seemed to be wear related we can’t judge that either. I’ve carried too many things in my back pocket that could have done that many times. Been very lucky so far.
After all that, I would agree with Vetteman Jack regarding price. You can use the “crying negotiation technique” complaining about all the money you have to put into it. I’ve seen pristine Z’s like this go for a variety of prices, some with about 15k more miles going around $18000-19000.
FWIW, you must replace those tires. Trouble is getting the original sizes. There are some out there so look carefully. My black Z had 16k and I couldn’t wait to get rid of the horrible GY’s. I have Z06 size wheels on my current coupe and went with 255 in front and 295 in the rear.
For what it's worth, my 2000 hardtop had less than 32,000 miles on it when I bought it. I was told that the Michelins on it were original. Last year I had a TPMS sensor fail. I do a lot of business with a National Tire and Battery store near where I live so I asked them if they could change it for me. The service manager told me that the tires were showing dry rot and that they would not survive the swap. I did some shopping on the internet and decided that I wanted BFG G-Force Comp-2 A/S. NT&B ordered them in the correct sizes for my car and, along with a new set of TPMS sensors, intalled them for me.
