Default Options for A-4 Shifters

Are their any options for the Auto Shifter's? BooCoo options for the manual but what about the A-4. Not a bad looking shifter, but would be nice to have options.

If you find some options, post them up. I haven't run across any so far.

Google search "C5 Corvette automatic shift **** conversion" and you will find a few options that replace the ugly, old man stock one, with a fitting that allows you to use the **** of your choice. I always go for a Von Dutch eyeball for mine

As we always say: the search is your friend. Just tried it and found two great shifters.
A link wouldn't be appropriate to our own sponsors.

Ecklers $49.88 + shipping
EBay $13 = Free Shipping
Anyone have any experience with either one of these? Is the Eckler one worth $35 more?

The C6 shifter fits. Some Cadillac's fit too.

I wish there was a whole unit with a more solid feel. Manual shifting one of these doesn't inspire confidence IMO.

I made this shifter years ago because there weren't any available for the C5, nothing has changed. There is no button to push or **** to push down on, the handle moves in two planes like the old column mounted shifters. Here's the shifter in the D4 position, part of the shift pattern can be seen in the lower right:

.

There is no indicator bulb to fail because inside the **** are seven leds to show what gear the transmission is in, here's reverse:

Here's park:

When in D4 or D3 the powertrain computer determines **** color.
A used power door lock was used instead of a lockout solenoid and it hasn't failed. So if you want a different A4 shifter you either have make one or cut up the tunnel to squeeze in an aftermarket.
