Dye for Seats
Is there a product / process I can use to effectively dye the brand name stitching a rather dark shade of black?
I'll be picking up a set of Corbeau A4s to try out on the C5. With current suspension, even normal driving sees me using my left knee to brace against the door in turns. Spirited driving would be an exercise in balance.
The seats appear to be in great used shape from what I can see. If I were to buy new, I'd probably go all-leather so as not to have the Corbeau wording across the headrest, as well as to get a bit better breathing for the seat. As it is, these are black microsuede and have bright white "CORBEAU" written across the head rest which I would like to subdue.
Unlike a baseball cap, I don't want to try to get away with using a sharpie. lol

Go to a place like Hobby Lobby and you should be able to find a permanent fabric marker that will work. I have used one before with very good results.

Chris - keeping it real with the true Papa and the Ghouls. The current iteration with Cardinal Copia is not up to my liking. I remain hopeful that the new record delivers, but what I've seen so far has left me pessimistic.
So if I use markers such as that, you don't think it will run on a hot day in the sun? You guys have used these with positive effect?

Once fabric dye dries it should not run, just like dying clothes. I have new seat i'm going to dye the headrest logo as well. Using a liquid and cotton swabs though...
