Default Is it OK to trickle charge a 2004 vette Battery

I don't drive my vette that often, it's it OK to put a trickle charge on it & for how long?

Better to do an auto-off maintainer than a charger. I'm very happy with the Ctek MUS 4.3 for example...

Definitely a tender and not a charger. Many use Deltran. Personally, I have a few of these:

I use a Battery Tender Plus on my car when I’m not driving it. Been using it for better than 8 years to keep the battery fully charged.

I have been using a $4.99 HF trickle charger/maintainer on my Chevy Suburban for the past 3 years and it works perfectly fine to keep my battery fully charged, and sometimes I don't drive that for months at a time. You will never damage a battery the capacity of the Corvette's, or any car, with something that puts only 1-1.25 amps, so if you want to spend $50-80, mostly for hype, have at it. And like I've said before, you can also use one of those 12V 1-2amp power sources/battery chargers/adapters that everybody has lying around the house sitting unused for small electronic equipment that they no longer have or use. Save your money for something more valuable.

Been using Battery Tender Plus's for a LONG time on everything you can think of with a battery from dinky little mower/motorcycle batteries to humongous Group size 31 cells for motorhomes. (and of course all of my Vettes). NEVER had a problem.

if you ever need to do a fast charge, disconnect the battery first. EBCM is very sensitive (read easily fried) with high power charger. i know!

Default Bat Tender Jr

I read on the forum that battery tender juniors were great. And I have used mine for over a year with no trouble. Amazon and Walmart have them for about 25 bucks.
