Photos of your Brand New C5 with window stickers!
Since before I bought my 01 vert I've seen 1000's of pics of our C5s.
I don't recall seeing any with the window sticker.
Since the thing is so large I have to assume it was removed even for a test drive?
Did the cars in the showroom and the lots have stickers?
Where did they have them placed?
Let's see your brand new 1998-2004 photos!

Yes, C5s on the lot and in the showroom had window stickers attached to them. At least all of them I saw did.

I was thinking my 02's window sticker was on the passenger's side window. I could be wrong, it was 16 years ago and I was stoned.

IIRC, the sticker on my '01 C-5 was on the passenger side of the windshield, but the dealer took it off and had it on the seat of the car, when I picked it up. The damned thing was so big, you couldn't safely drive the car.

[QUOTE=Patches;1597237423]Picked my '02 coupe up from the dealer Oct. 29, 2001 after ordering it on Sep. 8, 2001 so the sticker was not applied but was with the car when I took delivery./QUOTE]
Thanks Patches, Awesome coupe & pics TYVM!
Who knew on that Saturday, the world as we knew it would change forever on Tuesday; RIP 9/11.

Does anyone have pics of their brand new C5s with the window stickers still attached?
Phone pics, scans of film photographs or polaroids graciously accepted. 😎

I almost cancelled my order the next week thinking it was inappropriate to consider such things at such a somber time. After thinking about it for a couple more weeks, I realized I was supporting the essence of our country by buying an American icon so left the order in.

I've been surprised every time I visit this thread at the lack of photos like that. I thought for sure there would be several. We got Bob's, so at least he took one!

I had my GNs bare block at the machine shop that summer. The shop was slammed with work and I waited patiently as the owner is meticulous and honest.
Then the unbelievable happened. The shop had to gear up to post 9.11 work for a government supplier and my work was delayed for almost a year in total.
Spending time installing the engine in the summer of 2002 was good therapy for me.
Thank you again Patches, your photos will be a valuable reference as time goes on.
