Default Top Speed’s response and accomadation for selling me a product that didn’t fit.

This is the e-mail from the manager stepping in for Josh today says, “this product retails for $800 I can send it to your door for $650” Strongly thinking about going for it. It says it’s outvof stock but she’s saying I can have it today.

Only problem I see is this is the 1 7/8 displacement. I don’t need more than 1 3/4. Unless I missed something all the headers they offer for the C5 are 1 7/8. Will 1/8 really make a counter productive difference ?

Now, where it’s from... this if I’m not mistaken is a Japanese product market and sold in the US. Not built. Given the discount and reviews which are pretty decent, other than the issues I’ve ad to deal with, should I roll the dice?

Saving $917 and that’s more than enough for my labor cost. Probably have enough left over for the bi-pass mod.

that is all up to you, I was just stating that the 1 7/8" primary size will be just fine

Where are you seeing reviews? None are showing on their site:

Sounds like it would be a screamer at WOT. Plus with my TI axle back I’m confident with that and the bi-pass it would be good. Honestly as long as the install goes well I think it’s worth the 900 I’ll save

1 3/4" is ideal, 1 7/8" will work fine (although admittedly I would stick with the former)
IIRC those have 2 1/2" collectors. If so that's not the best. Collector size is important.
These looklikeall the same Ebay headers, such as Manzo.
Just some thoughts...

I heard one guy on this forum with shorty headers/bi-pass mod. It was so awesome so I cant imagine with long tubes I’d be disappointed.

Thsts my last concern thsts got me on the fence. the made in China ****. It’s really about saving $917 or just going all out. Hasn’t seen any used kooks with X-pipe and no later than tomorrow I want these in the mail.

Maybe I'm missing something here.
You don't have to have any Emission Testing ?
Will you car pass emissions without Cats ?

yes, it could still technically fail the visual inspection but many places don't even look

Depends... if you have a visual inspection and there's no cats, it won't pass. We have no inspection where I live, but I installed cats anyway.
